Petal Club FAQs
Can I gift my subscription to someone else?
Definitely! Reach out to me and we can work out the details.
What happens if I’m on vacation and am not home to pick up my flowers on a particular date?
If you’re out of town on a delivery/pick-up day, reach out and if we can adjust dates with you, we’ll try to make that happen. You could definitely spread some joy by gifting that week’s bouquet to a friend, too!
What happens when we pick them up?
I bring the bouquets wrapped in paper, but I don’t sell them in jars or vases. You’ll need to either get them home right away (within 20 minutes or so), or bring a jar or vase or wet paper towel to transport your bouquet home.
How long can my flowers be out of water if I pick them up?
We recommend no longer than 30 minutes in a cool vehicle. If you’ve got an errand or two to run, maybe bring a cup or jar of water for the ride home.
How long will my flowers last?
Vase life differs between flower varieties. People love dahlias, and dahlias bring a lot of joy and color to a bouquet for 3-5 days, on average. Sometimes they last longer, but they’re definitely not one of the longest-lived flowers out there. On the other hand, ranunculus or sunflowers can last up to 2 weeks in a vase. We send you home with flower food, so be sure to add that to your water to help prolong the flowers’ vase life.
How do I keep my flowers beautiful?
Water - change it every few days. Fresh cut flowers are thirsty, so don’t be surprised if you need to refresh their water.
Trim - if you trim the ends of the stems every few days when you change the water, they’ll be able to draw water up better.
Flower food - I send you home with a packet … use it. It really helps :)
